Winterization and Startup Contracts
These contracts includes draining the fountain, disconnecting plumbing pipes, shutting down the electrical equipment and setting up the fountain to help prevent damage to materials during the winter. The basic winterization does not include blowing out the waterfill lines as most fountain run off an irrigation system which is taken care of by landscapers, although it can be added for an additional charge.
Spring startups include reconnecting all of the plumbing lines, charging the waterfill system, a basic cleaning of the fountain, checking all of the electrical components, refilling the fountain, adding chemicals and starting the fountain.
Winterization and spring startups are billed under contract in the fall for the full service.

Waterproofing Concrete Fountains
Over time concrete fountains will begin to develop slight cracks and leak water. Our waterproofing service includes a deep cleaning of the fountain with a pressure washer, followed by acid etching the concrete to ensure proper adhesion of the waterproofing membrane. We then apply a primer coat of water proofing membrane, followed by a coat of crack filling liquid rubber, and then a final coat over the top mixed with an anti-slip membrane to ensure the leaks are all stopped.
This service runs between 800$ and depending on the square footage of the fountain.

Electrical Diagnostics
Often times electrical problems in fountains can be difficult to diagnose due to the submersible and rare nature of most fountain equipment, and the lack of knowledge that electricians have with submersible equipment. At Twin Cities Fountains Services we have nearly a decade of experience in diagnosing hard to determine electrical problems and are usually faster and cheaper than hiring an electrician.
