Winterization and Spring Startup Contracts
Twin Cities Fountain Services offers full service winterization and spring startup contracts for floating fountains, architectural fountains and backyard fountains.
All winterization and spring startups are billed together under contract in the fall.
Floating Fountains: Winterization includes removing the fountain from the lake, pressure washing it at our location, storing it in a dry location and then installing it in the pond in the spring.
Architectural Fountains: Winterization includes draining the fountain, disconnecting plumbing pipes, shutting down the electrical equipment and setting up the fountain to help prevent damage to materials during the winter. The basic winterization does not include blowing out the waterfill lines as most fountain run off an irrigation system which is taken care of by landscapers, although it can be added for an additional charge.
Spring startups include reconnecting all of the plumbing lines, charging the waterfill system, a basic cleaning of the fountain, checking all of the electrical components, refilling the fountain, adding chemicals and starting the fountain.
Backyards Fountains: Winterization includes removing the pump in the fall, stored onsite with the homeowner. Spring startup includes draining the fountain, washing it down, removing debris, refilling the fountain and adding chemicals.
Backyard fountain contracts can include just startup if desired by homeowner.
